Bio-Bullets are are wonders of organic engineering--and deadly puzzles. Apparently grown, rather than constructed, these ships are made with a dark, sturdy, smooth "bark", which protects the ship's thousand-foot length. The ship's armor is about 25' thick and pitted from micrometeoroid impacts, curving around the ship's frame like a stubby, tapered space crayon.

Physical Overview[]

Ports[]

Every 160 feet, running along the length of the bulky part of the Bullet, is a 10-foot window made of a gooey, cellulose-like material that resists fast-moving materials like a para-aramid fabric. However, slow-moving objects--like docking vestibules[1]--are allowed through.

Spin Gravity[]

Bio-bullets spin, producing an Earth-like gravity of 1G.

Dangers[]

It seems the builders of these ships were a plantoid species, similar to bushes of some kind, and rather keen on dominating other species. Weapons found among the biobullets include mind-controlling spores, hyperaggressive plant species servitors, and an inorganic-dissolving gas which can eat through plastics, fabrics, and even metals and glass.

Threat Assessment[]

Although sources of great bioengineering technology, these bullets seem to be long-forgotten bioweapons meant to terraform planets and enslave their populations. This "seed" could end life on a planet, if not quickly countered.
