Black Hole Components[]
This is a work in progress for a BBHP (Black Hole Power Plant) and BBD (Black Hole Drive) for GURPS Spaceships. They use the Hawking radiation emitted from a "small" black hole for either power generation or thrust.
This table shows the lifespan of a black hole, if the mass of one component slot was entirely devoted to it. This may need to be adjusted for the actual plant or drive, as they could include significant mass for shielding and containment.

At the end of a black hole's lifespan, it is fed with a small amount of auxiliary mass and ejected, since a black hole explodes catastrophically when it finally expires.
Because the evaporation time does not scale linearly to mass, a spaceship may need to use half-sized, undersized or oversized components to match the desired journey time.
