Body Control

Body Control is the name of a skill and a talent related to controlling one's own body functions. Not to be confused with the Body Control College of spells.

Body Control (Skill)

Defaults: None
Prerequisites: Trained By A Master, Breath Control, and Meditation.

Body Control (HT/Very Hard) is the skill to affect involuntary bodily functions such as heart rate, blood flow, and digestion.

It is referenced in GURPS Martial Arts, p. 54, on replacing HT for resistance rolls (including Pressure Points or Hand of Death form Innate Attack or Chi powers) and as an medical care skill.

Body Control (Talent)

Cost 5/level

This talent only effects the Body Control skill granting a +1 to the abilities covered by it. It also allows the use of earned points to acquire new abilities though GURPS Martial Arts is silent on how that exactly works.

In some settings replaced by Inner Balance talent which is 15/level
