"Yet, thanks to my trusty safety sphere, [sic] I sublibed with only tribial brain dablage." -- Prof Farnsworth, Futurama[1]
The brain is the (human) seat of consciousness, and a key vulnerability of most living creatures. Most vertebrates have a skull to protect their brain, and chitinous invertebrates (from ordinary lobsters to giant spiders). By default, damage to the brain has a x4 wounding modifier, with knockdown rolls at -10, and may even use the critical head blow table.[2] This is covered on the Skull page!
Advantages[]
- No Brain simply bypasses the normal rules from hits to the brain. You can still get damaged, but there's no special vulnerability to getting bonked on the noggin!

You need either mutant thumbs or a cinematic technique to attack the brain via the eyesockets unarmed. The realistic default rules do not allow this.
Notes[]
- Brain transplants and uploading are present around TL10
