Bravery is an Area-type Mind Control spell that makes the subjects fearless[1]--effectively, giving them the Unfazeable advantage.[2]
- Duration: 1 hour, unless overcome by a more potent Fear spell
- Base cost: 2. Cannot be maintained.
- Prerequisites: Fear
Anyone under this spell must make an IQ roll to avoid being brave, should caution be called-for.[1]
As an Enchantment[]
- (a) Any item. Always on; the item maintains a Bravery spell on its wearer. Energy cost to create: 500.
- (b) Staff or wand. Usable only by mages; the item must touch the subject. Energy cost to create: 500.
In Magical Warfare[]
This spell is likely to see use in magical warfare in any tech level, although it may require strong leadership skills to keep troops from engaging the enemy when they shouldn't! Likewise, if a unit is losing a battle is under the effect of Bravery, they may effectively become "unbreakable", fighting until death or inability.
