B112 an add-on to Melee Attack worth -5%, while it is a -40% limitation on Striker.

also called No Parry.

Horror[]

GURPS Horror has examples on page 12 (Paralyzing Touch and Leprous Touch) page 93 being used on Affliction, implying that if you did not take that -5% limitation you would be able to parry with it! Pages 78 and 80 take this as a limitation on Terror reduced to Melee Attack.

Powers[]

This is also seen in GURPS Powers on page 142 (Leprous Touch and Paralyzing Touch) and page 151 (Resurrection). Conversely, page 142's "Hand of Touch" does NOT have it, implying you can make an attack with that Affliction upon a successful parry.

Supers[]

GURPS Supers 43 (Vine Grasp) has it applied to Binding, implying that if you take Melee Attack without this limitation, a successful parry using binding gives you a free attack with it.

  • Also on page 43 is "Poison Ivy" which is an Affliction with Melee Attack but no CP. Page 44 is also a Melee w/o CP Affliction (Electrified Skin) but in both cases this is because Aura prevents taking that limitation (it's basically included on any contact)
    • page 45 (Electrified Surface) actually conveys this as "Reach C, No Parry, -30%;" (also an Aura)

would you let someone with Affliction (Stun) roll to attack someone else with a Stun attack as a free action? Would you let them do so as a "defense" in response to an attack? Of course not.

He could be thinking of the standard (ranged) kind though, and not modified with Melee Attack, which endows parrying abilities without this limitation.
