I wish we could convert these into proper wiki articles, I don't like using PDFs when we could just use normal Wiki articles. The Magi Nation bestiary seems like it might be hard to convert over, but like the Star Wars one looks reasonably straightforward. It'd loose the special formatting on it's headings probably, but mostly it's special formatting seems to be indentations and stuff. Not that we should delete the PDFs or anything, but it couldn't hurt to have them in PDF and wiki format. Plus then people could edit them, as PDFs that's not really possible. --Modred. - While I agree that is better, the fact is ti was uploaded without putting it under a free license compatible to CC-BY-SA, basically we don't technically have the rights to do so. โRoguebfl(talk) 07:16, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
- Can't we create an index page for a common bestiary and then link each entry as, for example, Bestiary:Cuatl, Bestiary:Bear, etc. Then, each bestiary entry utilize a template that includes a picture and a common format for the game statistics? When a creature is created, the steps would include creating the write-up, posting the picture, and editing the bestiary index to link to the new entry. I'm working on a bestiary of my own but would love to contribute to a unified effort like this. โCase454f 08:10, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Bestiary:{{PAGENAME}} would require wikia staff to create a new namespaceโwhich this is a bad idea, makes searching much harder. Make sure you add them to Category:Bestiary. Possibility call them them {{PAGENAME}} (bestiary) if you wored about name conflict. But I'm not particlly worred about that. โPreceding unsigned comment added by Roguebfl (talk โข contribs)
