The Davenford campaign (often called simply Davenford) was a GURPS campaign run for three years at Strategicon conventions (Orccon, Gamex, and Gateway) in Southern California. Davenford was a Tech Level 3 fantasy campaign using the GURPS system. The city of Davenford was a group creation, and was set in the nation of Megalos from GURPS Fantasy: The Magical World of Yrth (this third edition book was updated for fourth edition and was a basis for GURPS Banestorm). To make it easier for GMs and players with limited resources, magic spells were limited to those found in GURPS, Basic Set, Third Edition.
Davenford was proposed by Mike DeSanto at a wedding of two convention workers/GURPS GMs, and started with four GMs running games. It increased to seven over the three years it ran. In addition to DeSanto, GMs included Vernon K. Avaritt III, Scott Corum, Alden Loveshade, Madalyn Dawn Morse Kraft, Chris Paul, and Michale Shupe. In addition, Eric Kraft helped develop the campaign.
While a separate campaign, it overlapped with the Best of Both Worlds campaign, North Tredroy campaign, and 21st Century East Tredroy.
