Dexterity (DX) attribute is a measure of a combination of agility, coordination, and fine motor ability.
Components[]
Dexterity can be broken down into the following components:
- Basic Speed: [5] per +0.25
- Combat skills: [9] per +1
- Athletic skills: [3] per +1
- Transport skills: [2] per +1
- Sneaky skills: [1] per +1
GURPS Ultra-Lite[]
GURPS Ultra-Lite uses "levels" to denote attributes. For DX they are:
- Clumsy: 8
- Normal: 10
- Agile: 12
- Very Agile: 14
- Extreme: 16
Historical People[]
Some historically dextrous individuals...
- DX 13: King David [1]; William Marshal [2]; Mozart [3]; Lola Montez[4]; Richard Burton [5]; Nikola Tesla [6]
- DX 14: Shaka Zulu [7], Roger de Flor [8]; John Wesley Hardin [9]
- DX 15: Harry Houdini [10]
DX 0 Comments[]
While there are DX 0 rules it is extremely unlikely that anything that could be built as a character would have DX 0. Even the Silver Harp in GURPS Thaumatology has DX 12 with its inability to move handled by No Legs (Portable) [-30].[11]
