Drop Kick (aka dropkick) is a flashy two-legged aerial kick technique, and a special option for Move and Attack. When using Drop Kick, use these rules instead.[1]
- Defaults: Brawling-1, Sumo Wrestling-1, or Wrestling-2.
- Prerequisite: Brawling, Sumo Wrestling, or Wrestling; cannot exceed prerequisite skill.
Using A Drop Kick[]
- Drop Kick works as a type of Slam.
- You must move at least a yard towards your target.[1]
- Reach: 2 yards
- Roll against Drop Kick to hit (see Technique below)
- Damage is for a slam (HP x Movement)/100
- If damage is less than 1d, treat fractions up to 0.25 as 1d-3, fractions up to 0.5 as 1d-2, and any larger fraction as 1d-1.
- Otherwise, round fractions of 0.5 or more up to a full die. You can use All-Out Attack (Strong) to increase your damage.
- +2 for going feet-first (+3 if wearing heavy boots)
- Brawling, Sumo Wrestling or Wrestling add a damage bonus
- Succeed or fail, you fall down. Until your next turn, you may block or parry from the ground, but you cannot dodge nor retreat.
- In a cinematic game, the GM may allow an Acrobatics-5 roll to "kick off" of a target, allowing the drop-kicker to land on their feet![1]
