Extra-Powerful Ammunition is an option published on GURPS High-Tech p. 165 and GURPS Tactical Shooting p. 77. It allows a shooter who hand-loads (TL 4+) or buys (common at TL 8+) specially powerful ammunition to make a firearm more damaging and longer-ranged at the cost of increased Min ST and possibly other penalties or risks.
