This is an adaptation of other material to GURPS

The Falcon is a light aerospace fighter, distinguished as the spacecraft with the greatest thrust-to-mass ratio.

The Falcon has 16-ton (SM+4) streamlined needle diamondoid hull of length 12 yards (36 feet). It winged ($160K) and has gravitic compensators ($16K) and emergency ejection ($500K). The crew consists of a single pilot.

  • Users: Federation.
  • Equipment Mounts: A Falcon can optionally mount one spinal beam weapon; one fixed front 24cm missile launcher with two missiles; and a class 1 military hyperdrive. It cannot mount a fuel scoop.

Typical Loadout[]

The following statistics show the typical loadout for a Federation Navy Falcon aerofighter, armed with a 1MW pulse laser, both missile pylons fitted, a naval anti-missle ECM with a range of 30 miles, enhanced comm/sensor array, and energy shield.

The class 1 military hyperdrive has an FTL of 5. The maximum hyperdrive distance is 3.75 parsecs (12.5 ly), consuming 1 ton (2,250 mps) of military fuel (and producing 0.5 tons of radioactives).

Note that as the mass of the Falcon is 16 tons, the spinal battery only takes up two slots, not three.
