The frost snake is a white-furred, serpentine creature that blasts its prey with a jet of extreme cold. The creature itself is highly resistant to cold damage as well as cold climates, and maintains a remarkable grip upon icy surfaces. Their bite is unexpectedly strong, even for their size. They are similar to an average adult human in weight, and are decently fast over land. Oddly enough, they are not cold-blooded, nor are they technically snakes--they're dire beasts, outside normal classification.

Frost snakes are unlikely to share territory with cold slorns, but if they do clash, cold slorns win. Likewise, cold slorns tend to give right of way to the elephantinely massive frost wyrms.

Dead Monster Bits[]

  • Single, "cold organ", stored somewhere in the body. Useful for producing a supernatural level of cold. Use it on a hot day, or to preserve other Dead Monster Bits!
  • Frost Snakeskin boots give the wearer an excellent grip on the ice, as well as keeping the feet warm and toasty.
