Hidden Lore

Hidden Lore (IQ/Average) represents knowledge that is lost, deliberately hidden, or simply neglected. The skill requires specialization. Generally such lore is hidden for a reason so discussing or revealing knowledge can be extremely hazardous.

Notes[]

A given setting's Hidden Lore list can sometimes give you a good idea of what key lore concepts will make up the setting. Perhaps your setting revolves around angels, demons, witches and witch-hunters.[1] Maybe it's full of fey creatures, escaped fictionals, and psychic phenomena.[2] Maybe your setting's strangeness revolves around nuclear creatures, cryptids, and secret societies[3]. Hidden Lore can encapsulate much of the high strangeness into a nice, neat list.
