High Magic is the spellcasting generally found in many roleplaying games. It efficiently combines the quick learning of Low Magic with the aspects of Formulaic Magic. It can produce very potent results
- Miracles
- Meditative Magic
- Thaumaturgy (mana based magic) and Sorcery (Ritual Magic)
- Historical Magic: Magic that uses what real magical practitioners thought they were doing. Authentic Thaumaturgy is an example of Historical Magic.
