King Arthur is the central character of countless Arthurian legends and likewise, a major person of interest in a number of Camelot timelines, as well as Vanaheim.[1] As a mythic character, King Arthur has many forms and variations, with a sort of bell curve of common traits, such as knightly codes of honor, a grand and legendary purpose, and a really cool sword. Sometimes he's played straight and goes on Grail quests, sometimes he's beset by rude French knights[2], and sometimes the "kingdom" he's uniting is covered in bullet-ridden cars.
Arthur is sometimes a load-bearing reality shard himself, and his death (and the fall of Camelot) signals the end of a timeline.[3][4]
