Legs are defined as Limbs that one can walk on but cannot be used to manipulate objects.[1] They often include feet as Extremities on the end of them. As GURPS is human-standard, a character is assumed to have two legs by default, and can kick.
More Legs[]
Any number of legs above two requires the Extra Legs Advantage. If a leg is flexible enough to manipulate objects, they can count as arms -- see Extra Arms instead[1]
Less Legs[]
A species built around one leg will use the One Leg disadvantage,[2] while a biped with missing or immovable legs will use Lame.
Losing Legs[]
Losing a leg leads to -3 to skills that require legs, including Melee Weapon skills and unarmed combat, but not ranged attacks (see Lame). Your Move is half your Basic Speed. Also, losing a leg causes a fall![3] For losing legs on many-legged creatures, see Extra Legs.
Attacks with Legs[]
Attacks delivered using the leg include:
- Shin Kicks
- Knee Strike
- Knee Drop
- Using Your Legs for Grappling
- Jam (an Aggressive Parry for a Leg Parry)
- Spinning Kick
