Mana Damper (B67) is a physical supernatural advantage that negates magical energy (“mana”) in the user's vicinity, making it difficult or impossible for others to cast spells.

Contrast with Magic Resistance (advantage)

Aspected Mana Damper[]

Thaumatology 61 talks about floating the Limited Colleges or One College Only limitations from Magery to the mana advantages to create aspected mana.

Continuous Mana Damper[]

In a Continuous Mana a standard 10pt level of Mana Damper gives a -5 to skill.

2-point increments, each giving -1 is an alternate option.[1] Mana below Very Low Mana (-10 from Normal at 0) is effectively no mana.

P59 refers to being able to Power Block

GURPS Powers 165 classifies it as one of the "zero-range area-effect abilities" including ordinary attacks modified with Emanation as well as Obscure
