- If they failed their roll by less, they subtract their margin of failure from their opponent's to determine it.
- If they passed their roll by more, they subtract their opponent's margin of success from their own margin of success to determine it
- If they passed their roll and the opponent failed theirs, the opponent's margin of failure is added to the winner's margin of success to determine it
Injury and Damage (Varies) inaccurately uses the term even though it is an unopposed HT check so it would only be MoS not MoV
