Mystic Symbol is used for Classic Ritual Magic and 4e Path/Book magic. It is very different between Classic and

  • In Classic it is a straight [10/level], limit 5
  • In 4e it is built using levels of Magery (or other relevant talent), Will ("Only for magical purposes" -40%), or Magic Resistance (Improved, +150%) with gadget limitations applied.
