Parachronics are, in essence, the technology behind alternate-world travel. By first appearances, it may seem like time travel, but this is not the case. Each universe operates independently, in real time, with or without interference. For instance, burying pirate treasure on Armada-2 won't result in the same treasure appearing on Homeline. There is however, money to be made in inter-world trade--every timeline has its treasures, be they coins by empires that fell, art from artists who don't exist, or even entire timelines where major cultural figures lived into old age.

In Homeline, Open-class timelines, and many others, parachronics is a science, hobby, and method of tourism. However, on worlds with near-Homeline technology (TL8+) or with hostile world powers, parachronics are a tightly kept secret. The Secret.
Methods of Parachronic Travel[]
Conveyor Technology[]
- Subquantum Conveyors: Can jump between destinations at the same quantum level. LC2.
- These don't require the massive projectors that make quantum leaps possible. This makes them cheaper... and much more low-profile, and thus popular with folks like the Swagmen and the Outfit.
- Quantum Conveyors: These can jump between destinations at the same quantum level. With the help of a projector, they can jump to or from adjacent quantum levels as well. LC1.
- Two-Quantum Conveyors: Quantum Conveyors with a two quantum level range via projector LC0.
NOTE: It is heavily implied that conveyors do not teleport distance โ that is, a Conveyor in modern-day Homeline London would be able to move to other timelines' approximate London location, but not to Milan or Rome even Liverpool.
