Parry Missile Weapons (DX/Hard) is a special skill which allows parries against arrows. Normally you can only block with a buckler or cloak or shield

Also the only way to get a Grabbing Parry against arrows

B212

NOTE: B376 allows an exception to the usual rules forbidding parrying missile weapons without this skill (normally only melee/thrown can be parried):

If a foe attacks you with a missile weapon
and he is within reach of your melee weapon,
you may parry.
You’re parrying the weapon, not the projectile!
For example, if an attacker fired a pistol at you from only one yard away,
you could attempt to parry barehanded.
Success would mean that you slapped his arm or gun aside,
causing him to fire wide of your body

On deflecting Missile spells with Parry Missile Weapons: I'd allow it. GURPS Magic, p. 12 is a little hesitant to commit. For those who want my personal ruling (I had no real influence on what went into GURPS Magic . . . I was too busy writing GURPS Powers at the time), it's on p. 14 of Dungeon Fantasy Spells:

A martial artist can use Parry Missile Weapons to parry, deflecting magic with chi.

But I think fairness dictates that if this is permitted, Catch Spell ought to work on ranged attacks bought with the Chi modifier, too. The GM can rule however they want, but I think it's fairest to allow both or neither.
