Permeation is an exotic physical Advantage that allows you can move through a particular solid material as if it didn’t exist.[1]
Basic Cost[]
The cost is figured likely to encounter the material you can permeate in the form of a barrier. So while paper is common as a substance it is rare to encounter it as a wall.
- Very Common: 20 points
- Occasional: 10 points
- Rare: 5 points
Special Enhancements[]
- Extended (full price + +20% related substance)
- Meld 1 (+150%): "You can become one with the things you permeate, like a dryad merging with her tree"
- Meld 2 (+300%): "As Meld 1, but works even on distributed objects"
Special Limitations[]
- Finite Thickness (-50% for a thin membrane, -30% for an inch, -15% for a foot, and -5% for the distance you can sprint in a second).

If I have Permeate (Metal) can I punch/slash (with the can carry equipment enhancement) through metal armour (does metal armour protect from my attacks)?
- Metal armor works just fine against your attacks, for the same reason that attacks with metal work just fine against you: you can walk bodily through a material, but you have no immunity at all to sudden, violent ecounters with that material.
If I have Permeate (Metal) can I still hit someone with Body of Metal?
- Yes. It's important to understand that Permeation *doesn't* mean "This material and my body can't interact at all." It means nothing more than "I can walk (not reach, not attack) through this material."
