Prepared Corpses is an optional rule for GMs introduced on page 134 of GURPS Zombies.
It allows man-hours used in corpse preparation to reduce the cost of casting the spell, which is useful in cases where mages have limited ability to spend energy on casting it, particularly in the case of the new optional higher-energy versions (up to 17 energy, exceeding most human FP) for stronger zombies.
