This reality has a secondary divergence point: "someone of high importance in a dastardly plot dies in a horrible car crash in New Orleans. The information he has in his head dies with him, and, as a result, key pieces of that plot are not connected. People don’t talk to one another, supplies are not ferried to where they need to go, cover stories and alibis are not provided, and their long-suffering patsy is not fully activated. Bowed under the weight of poor planning, the assassination of President Kennedy does not happen." Kennedy goes on to a second term but the scandals of his administration come to light during this term tarnishing his efforts to push the US moon program.[1]
Discrepancies[]
Red Moon presents options for using Centrum and Reich-5 as villains, despite this world's quantum 5 location being outside the normal accessible area for both factions.[2] Some fans have used this discrepancy to claim that Red Moon is a puzzle world similar to Mobius.[3] J. Edward Tremmlet (author of The Rocket's Red Glare, where Red Moon debuted) admitted there were errors in the article, saying: "If I goofed, I goofed. Mea culpa. :) Run with it or ignore it. Party on."[4]
