the discount is pretty cheap considering the steep demands compared to alternatives

the name could be a bit confusing leading to think a single concentrate maneuver is activate, when it actually refers to a series, so Requires Concentrate(s) or Requires Ongoing Concentration might be better.

It's also not just the maneuver choice to maintain, but like with non-Indenpendent abilities (or casting spells) it also means interruption if concentration is broken via a roll.

This as opposed to something like a Malediction which could just be launched as a series of discrete transient attacks without the drawbacks of interruptions.

switchability prerequisite[]

"Taking any other maneuver (such as Attack or Move) causes it to switch off." highlights the 'switchable' nature of this limitation, which is important to note because switchability is normally an enhancement.

P153's three categories, under switchable, one of part 2's conditions is "until the user stops concentrating on them". This is the aspect that RC adds, or which Independent removes if it is built in.

Part 1 is ALSO mandatory for switchability though, which requires either Usually On or Switchable enhancements UNLESS the underlying ability (not modified by Always On) specifies it can be switched on and off inherently.
