Shapeshifting is an exotic physical advantage[1] with two types:
- Alternate Form
- Morph - Alternate Form that includes any racial template, within certain limits.
Except for Affects Others, when applying enhancements and limitations, it only applies to the base cost (15 points per form for AF, 100 points for Morph) and not to any extra points (the 90% of difference from base form)[2]

- Absorptive Change (+5% for None, +10% for Light, +15% for Medium, +20% for Heavy, or +25% for Extra-Heavy): Only for Alternate Form
- Active Change (+20%)
- Improvised Forms (+100%): Only for Morph
- No Memorization Required (+50%)
- Non-Reciprocal Damage (+50%)
- Once On, Stays On (+50% modifier on the basic 15 points and raises the form-specific cost from 90% to 100% of the difference in template costs)
- Reciprocal Rest (+30%)
- Unlimited (+50%)
- No reversion when asleep or unconscious (+150%)[3]
Special Limitations[]
- Cannot Memorize Forms (-50%): Only for Morph.
- Cosmetic (-50%)
- Flawed (-10%): Only for Morph. Mutually incompatible with Cosmetic.
- Mass Conservation (-30%)
- Needs Sample (-5% if you need only touch the target; -15% if you require a drop of blood, strand of hair, etc.; -50% if you must eat the whole target): Only for Morph.
- Retains Shape (-20%)
- Projected Form (-50%): Only for Alternate Form.
- Unliving Forms Only (+0%): Only for Morph
