Cost: varies
Susceptible is a mundane physical Disadvantage where you are extremely sensitive to a particular class of noxious items or substances. It is essentially a disadvantage equivalent to Resistant.
Price[]
Point cost depends on the item’s rarity in the environment:
- Very Common: -4 points/-1 to HT rolls
- Common: -2 points/-1 to HT rolls.
- Occasional: -1 point/-1 to HT rolls.
It is sort of like an inverse of Resistant except there is no Mental Susceptible like there is Mental Resistance for getting penalties to IQ or Will rolls instead of HT ones.
mental threats[]
That said, there are a variety of mental disadvantages which do operate that way, like:
- Fearfulness (penalizing Will rolls when making Fright Checks)
- Slave Mentality (penalizing Will rolls vs Influence Rolls)
- Magic Susceptibility (penalizes all magic resistance rolls, HT or otherwise)
- TBA
Pyramid #3/58: Urban Fantasy II, p. 10 has Susceptible to Possession like Voodoo had
Easy to Kill[]
Priced at -2 per level (and also capped at reducing HT to effectively 3) it is basically equivalent to a Common susceptibility.
It is the inverse of Hard to Kill which is also priced 2/level.
Resistant on the other hand is a fixed +3/+8 rather than per level.
Hard to Subdue is also 2/level however since Immunity to Unconsciousness is 30, +8 costs 15 and +3 costs 5 which is cheaper than HTS
Easy to Subdue has been suggested as tied pricing with ETK, which could also be thought of as "Susceptible to Subduing" just as Hard to Kill could be thought of as "Susceptible to Killing".
