The Powered by GURPS Transhuman Space is unique among the GURPS settings as it is officially a mixture of Classic and 4th edition.
The core book, GURPS Transhuman Space Classic, is a Classic edition, containing the lore for large portions of the setting, and is just over 240 pages long. Related Classic material begins with "CTHS" (Classic Transhuman Space).
Several of the newer 4e supplements, such as Transhuman Space: Changing Times are updates of older templates from the Classic series.
GURPS Transhuman Space is considered part of the Powered by GURPS line though it requires either the Basic Set (Third Edition) Revised and GURPS Compendium 1 (despite it containing a kind of specially Classic: GURPS lite) or the 4e Basic Set though it
