Prerequisites: HT 12+

Very Rapid Healing is the 15 point version of Rapid Healing.[1] Whenever this character rolls to recover lost HP (or to see if they can recovery from a crippling injury), they get +5 to their effective HT.

Critical failures still apply, but these higher numbers still help counter HT penalties, such as strikes to arteries, or attacks from heal-blocking magical weapons.

Expansions[]

As a variant rule, it is possible to buy up Rapid Healing in levels, and to increase all healing multipliers, not just the Natural Healing of HP per daily successful HT roll. This gives some incentive to buy it when it's more expensive than Regeneration, which gives a bonus 2 HP healed per day without requiring a roll for half the price relative to Rapid Healing (+5 instead of +10)[2]

VRH is a "level up" for anyone, including chars with Regeneration, because it lets you heal 2 HP whenever you'd naturally heal 1.
So if you have VRH and Instant Regen, you heal 2 HP per second, which is quite useful.
(And yes, you should only charge that char 10 points for the VRH, since RH is already included.)[3]
