Visible Reflection on B93 is a -10% limitation on Invisibility which saves 4 points, just like Visible Shadow.
B157 Supernatural Features includes No Reflection which gives -10 points.
It has the same value as if a Temporary Disadvantage except in the opposite (instead of only having a reflection when not using an ability, you keep a reflection you would normally lose, while using it)
TDs often save fewer points because they can be switched off.
While TDs normally are meant for switchable abilities, a character defining it for a non-switchable ability is presumably acceptable, though largely means they don't get as big a discount.
It is advantageous for Invisibility to take the limitation rather than the disadvantage when it is upgraded to Switchable.
Otherwise, they could only lose the feature in other situations that shut down the power. Like for example non-enhancement things which endow invisibility:
- while conscious -5%
- costs fatigue -5% (lasts 1 minute, even if you get knocked out)
- maximum duration
- if the power is hit by neutralize or static
- if the advantage is hit by negated Disadvantage
- if limited to environmental
A visible reflection can be advantageous in some situations for scaring folk. For invisibles who CAN do that but are not obligated to, there are two approaches:
- the Selective Effect enhancement on invisibility
- the Controllable Disadvantage perk
