Worrying is a follow-up attack after a successful bite. It allows a tenacious biter to continue damaging a target without needing to re-roll attacks.
GURPS Martial Arts page 115 introduced this as a follow-up attack to biting. It needs no roll to hit, damage is simply rolled. This means it can't miss but also that it can't do critical damage.
- it mentions "counts as an attack"
GURPS Zombies pg 109 mentions
- requires an Attack or an All-Out Attack"
This is strange because Zombies got Worrying from Martial Arts yet appears to forget that Committed Attack was also added there.
GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 3 "The Next Level" pg 15 mentions it under Born Biter for Reptilians.
GURPS Martial Arts: Technical Grappling mentions "If you bite and worry (Martial Arts, p. 115), you inflict a shock penalty." though it's unclear if additional Control Points like the initial bite does.
- This is different from normal grapples in that the initial bite counts as a strike not a grapple (no halved hit location penalties) and it's unclear how you can Improve it, if it is Incrementing.
